Trades · Home services · Surrey
Surrey Handyman. Website rebuild and ongoing local SEO, with enquiry forms up 100% on the starting point.
An established Surrey service business with an outdated website and an enquiry route that needed rebuilding.

Work undertaken
The problem
The old site was built in plain HTML with no content management system, making updates slow and expensive. It ranked poorly for the services that actually paid the bills, and the enquiry process was buried and clunky. Most leads came from word of mouth or repeat customers, while new organic traffic barely converted. The owner knew the website was overdue for a complete overhaul.
What we did
- 01Restructured and rewrote the website around its services and customer enquiries.
- 02Improved technical and on-page search foundations and measurement.
- 03Designed clearer navigation, service pages and enquiry routes for mobile and desktop visitors.
The result
Comparing with 7 April, completed enquiry forms are up 100% after the website rebuild and ongoing local SEO. It shows what changed for this business, not a promise of the same outcome elsewhere.

Grid points turned green
The problem
At the starting point, the local search grid showed no ranking positions for the tracked phrase across the measured Lincoln area.
What we did
- 01Reviewed and improved the website's technical and on-page search foundations.
- 02Connected Search Console and Analytics to support measurement.
- 03Worked on the Google Business Profile, including its categories, services, service areas, opening hours and photos.
- 04Continued with separately scoped ongoing local search work.
The result
Five weekly local-search grids tell the story better than we can. 25 May: nothing. 23 June: ranking in the top three across almost the entire service area, with first place at the clinic itself. From no rankings showing on the map to broad top-three visibility across the measured area in that four-week comparison.

Across the service area
The problem
In the before grid, most measured points ranked outside the top ten, including points around the surrounding towns and Peterborough.
What we did
- 01Redesigned and rebuilt the website around clearer service and enquiry routes.
- 02Worked on technical and on-page search foundations across service and location pages.
- 03Worked on the Google Business Profile and its relevant business information.
- 04Continued with separately scoped ongoing SEO work.
The result
The local search grid tells the story. The after grid shows position one at the pin and stronger visibility across the measured core area. These maps show what changed here, not a guaranteed result.

Top 5
Majority of tracked terms
The problem
At the start, almost the entire tracked keyword set sat at position 51 or lower. A small number of terms appeared in the top ten.
What we did
- 01Technical and on-page SEO work, measured through Search Console and Analytics.
- 02Google Business Profile work as part of the separately agreed SEO scope.
- 03Ongoing content and optimisation work tracked against the target keyword set.
The result
Across the November 2025 to July 2026 comparison period, nine tracked keywords reached position one. This comes from the ongoing SEO scope, not the Found Website offer.
